Protective Samourai of Tao Laii

The samurai Ran and Raino are among the first inhabitants to have joined Tao Laii, at a time when the village was just beginning to come back to life amid the jungle and the cliffs.

They settled high up, at the foot of the temple, in a house overlooking the canyon and the surrounding landscape. A place set slightly apart from the heart of the village, yet fully integrated into its balance.

It is there that they established their forge.

Fire and metal shape their days. The sound of hammers answers the wind of the heights, while the glow of embers catches on the stone throughout the hours. Ran and Raino craft weapons intended for the practice of C:SI, a martial discipline focused on precision, control of movement, and speed. They form a formidable team: Ran is the strategist, Raino the skilled craftsman. Their weapons, stamped RA-Tech, are among the finest on the market.

They are also agile and highly skilled in martial arts, which they have practiced for many years. Both are calm and discreet, yet perfectly integrated into the community, always ready to share a drink or take part in a celebration. Their presence brings a sense of comfort and serenity to the colony.

And every resident of Tao Laii knows that, if one day people from the Other World were to threaten Tao Laii, Ran and Raino would be there to protect it.
